As the title suggests, can a member post a pic up of the exact original contents of an E9 tool tray please? My cars 72cs , non sunroof model. I just want to see if my contents is correct.
Thanks in advance

Probably just a later style? I ordered them for an E9 toolkit from BMW about 4 years ago.

Yep they did come in different sizes over the years.
Super looking toolkit BTW.
I am sure you know the plastic the holder and hinge is made from is not the strongest. I keep my tools in a leather roll whilst driving. They only get fitted for high days and holidays!

That's probably a wise decision. These newer trays do appear to be better made. Two of the corner tabs broke off my original tray and I cracked the shell by slamming it ontop of a peice of luggage years ago while rushing to the airtport. There are only a few components left from the original tray with the others being newer replacements from BMW or spares pruchased from other forum memebers.

Great looking tool kits guys! I am envious.
Quick, sort of on topic question...did our e9's come with pink Beru sparkplugs in the tool kit/in the engine, was it an early model thing, or what?

And the Beru plugs on my kit are in pink ceramic. Were those only for the Euro cars?

My car came with the original Bosch 175's or whatever the code was back then, I sourced some pink Berus for bling factor.
