Just arrived home. No rain on the return trip. Athena ran flawlessly at great speed. Had fun caravaning with the New England merry band of travelers.

As we discussed would happen after the replacement wiper motor!

Highly recommend upgrading to the 6 series wiper motor, so much smoother and faster than the old motor. Have to run the ground wire through the center of the 4 prong plug to the center spade and ground the motor 5 prong plug with a loop connector to a screw on the motor.

Exactly the same, no part number, sorry.

Mario Langsten posted the following in the Vintage thread on Andrew's part: Part numbers 61 61 1 354 583 / 61 61 1 359 804 fit Athena, this part is used in early E12 528i and 530i US spec, in e24 US 630/633 and Euro E24 by ETK, but as I recall they mount in different direction so not interchangable from E24. The correct part is also used on 2500/3.0Si/ Bavaria.

Special thanks to Andrew for hauling a chrome bumper from the Vintage up to Mario, that I had sold him. Athena is easily the most beautiful FedEx vehicle in their fleet. Last I saw her was in Winston-Salem, and she looks even better. Such great folks on this board. Much appreciated.
Yo! Mario?....

Thank you Dave! Athena elegantly hauled parts each way for Mario & Co. Your package was delivered yesterday.
