Wheel size help

I've been looking at options for different wheels for my '73.

I found some really attractive steelies from a company called Corsa Velocita. They have a 17" wheel for the e28 that is compatible with our 5 lug pattern. However, I am a total newbie when it comes to backspacing and offsets.

Any ideas on what the car can take without having to roll fenders, etc.? I plan to keep the suspension stock.
