Got my shop put together and got the vapor blaster working well. Now offering a mail in vapor blasting service. 85$ per operating hour. Will continue to update this thread with pictures.

Joe, so this small part took how long? Trying to gauge how long it took?

About how much time for a whole CSi log in pieces? I can send photos if you think it's necessary.

This piece probably took 5-7 minutes. Maybe less of actual operating time. I have a csi log set up so I got an idea. I could see 2-3 hours if not more depending on how dirty is it.

I’ll probably have to do it case by case. I’ll have to transfer shipping costs to the customer. Drop offs would be welcome but don’t expect many of those. I have a parts cleaner I can use. As long as I don’t have to spend a ton of time on degreasing I won’t charge more than the hourly operating rate.

Got a leak fixed so I’m back on the vapor blasting. I realize the hourly charge can be variable so instead of doing an hourly rate. Just send me a pm of what you want done and I’ll give a quote. If it takes much longer I’ll just stick to the quoted charge. This intake was the first time through. Probably would go back and touch up to make them perfect. But this definitely shows the level of finish.

I’ve gone every year since 2016 but I won’t be going this year. Got married, got a baby on the way and had surgery recently so I’m trying to cut where I can.

what range would the cost be for a set of runners like those pictured?

Just the runners or entire intake? Probably 100$ for the runners and maybe another 50$ for the rest of the intake aluminum parts. Would need pics beforehand. How clean the parts are at the start will definitely determine how long it take me. Once I’m done I’ll send pics before I ship em back to make sure everyone is happy.
