So..........a little curve ball. We are still on for our April 29th but we are going to have to share the track. Turns out Thunderhill is double booked.
Our track mates sound great though, its a new group trying to riff off the 24 Hours of Lemons. Their philosophy is a little different then ours as their name is "The 12 Hours of Seabreeze". Its an endurance race that sounds a bit like a demolition derby to me and tests the mental and physical attributes of the drivers while they are allowed to sustain themselves for the day on Seabreeze cocktails. I know.....sounds like a bunch of knuckleheads. So they are going to let us run and do our chalk talk and groups the way we normally do...........while the endurance race is going on all day on track. So just be prepared for a little more lap traffic during your run sessions and be on full lookout for shenanigans around you while you drive. It will be fine.
