i generally like mid 60's mustangs, especially fastbacks ... but i have never seen one in this color ... which reminds me of the beauty of a coupe finished in ceylon. forget the hood scoop or the stripes. but this looks hot in this color. sold for 40k on BAT yesterday

Certainly an attention grabber.

Variations on a theme. Like jewelry, metallics are hard to pin down as a group. Not all gold/ceylon is alike. the subject can seem never-ending, if not exhausting. An acquaintance promised to have his wife's '67 Vette painted "gold". After days of debating different shades in different lighting conditions, there was talk of marriage counseling. The car was painted red. :eek:

well your pics - at least Matt Hoffman's former '73 (now in NOLA) matches pretty closely to the mustang. i agree on the variability of the color. it is often too brown. the variability of ceylon on coupes and 2002 is huge. i like the color of Matt's
