Fortunately Frank Stella's Minimalist "Maximalist 'more is more'" Paintings & Sculptures have received countless accolades & awards from prestigious museums, art dealers & collectors all through his career. So many great artists only revered posthumously, Frank was revered, respected & celebrated for his work while he was able to appreciate al of it.

I have a childhood friend that knew Frank when he lived in Soho in his twenties. My friend is also a prolific painter and I tried to convince him to do his own BMW Art car. I even offered my VW Cabrio to try his design on... Artists are stubborn, he prefers canvas...like so:
