Isn't his asking price a little on the high side, I've got the 3.6 something gears & would like something more like what he has there~

I feel like $1,000 is about right for full retail, non-member-to-member pricing. The best way to get ann LSD is to buy the car that it is attached to.

If you consider the cost of the alternatives, $1000 is a significant savings if you are willing to take the risk of a used part. What the price doesn’t give you is lots of margin to rebuild the diff if it turns out to have a major problem.
