Looking for a good, original radio speaker or a new(ish) one that will fit in the stock enclosure over the instrument cluster of an E3. Original ones are likely crispy by now, but what have you E3 owners found that fit?

What size is it?
A good question. I don't have one, but I'll remove the mesh cover tomorrow and measure mounting points and anything else to give a clue as to size. Perhaps someone else has one they don't want to get rid of but could measure it for me?

Mounting holes are about 6 inch by 2 1/4 inches. This piece is toast. If you need it, I will mail it to you. Send pm if you need it and you’ll address. I’ll be receiving my dashboard from Justdashs by the end of next week. Thank you for the advice. I was thinking about doing a heads up display in that area.

That reminds me of a riddle of sorts:

Two brothers live in coastal states. One brother lives in an Atlantic state, the other a Pacific one. Once a year their clocks show the same time. Where do they live and when does this happen?
