Chris, that is not an antenna, it is the boomerang that was used in the original Mad Max movie (the one that hit Wez's pretty boyfriend in the head and killed him instantly causing a cataclysmic reaction wherein the Humungus had to step in to prevent poor Wez from attacking the well fortified oil refinery).
