it would be worth buying a piece (99 cents) to find out the width, and whether it would fit into our panels. looks like it could work.

I have my tack strips handy if anyone needs measurements. My iphone camera has a "known defect" so not pics.

Our tack strip is about 3/16" wide, most of my accounts (domestic upholstery companies) use something that's about 3/8"-1/2"...I have asked a couple of the sample makers, and shown them ours, and they haven't seen one as small as ours...I will check with some suppliers soon.
..and I tend to agree with Markos on $100 per door.

Guys, two suggestions if I may,

Like some other members, I don't really need a full set, in my case just the long fronts, so possibly could we look at a per piece price?
Secondly, would there be enough depth to the part to be able to tap a thread and then by way of a spacer fix to the door panel?
