Check on German eBay. eBay.de. Think there are a couple in there for sale. Search criteria, BMW E9

I'll take a look later since I'm on the road right now.
I have a parts guy too, so we will find you one. It's the handle thing you are looking for right?
Cheers

Here it is. In the UK for sale. Not quite cheap but available.
German eBay.de listing number 152517856670. Probably advertised in UK eBay too.

I've asked my parts guy too so if you want to wait out today, it's up to you.
Cheers

Alan, that is not from a 6 series. A six uses plain hinges in the front along with gas shocks to hold it open. That could be from an E12

Hi Davie, I've ended up with two of these, both in excellent condition but neither fit ! They are possibly from an 02 or an E3, both are too long.

It's hard to find one of these that hasn't snapped on at least one end, or hasn't had a dodgy repair. I'm in London so shipping should be affordable. If you want me to take pictures just send me a message and I'll take some.

The torsion bars would also need shortening, unless you can use your old pair.

If you do find one for sale - check the length with the seller ! The guy I got both of these from in Germany was adamant they were from an E9 as they look the same.

Regards,

Damien

Thanks again for the help!

Correct me if I am wrong, but I think the support from the 2000CS has different mounting points and would not be readily compatible.
