yeah ... 2 great things to do in a car in Texas - drive through the country and look at the bluebonnets or indian paintbrush ... then stop and eat some great brisket or sausage at a little barbecue joint. if you do this, you will thank your lucky stars that you're in Texas!
i have driven the area in between Waller and Brookshire when we set up a SCCA national road rally in 1982 + 83. a little south of there in Fulshear was a place called Dozier's ... i just read that on 30 march they fired their pits for the last time and are now closed - 1957 to 2024 ... a good run
