Looking to see if anyone has ever replaced the riveted on heater fan switch on their coupe. Mine is toast. I can't seem to find this switch anywhere to buy. Once you remove the heater and air unit, you can see the switch thats sits left of center. That's what Im looking to replace.

I doubt you could find anything resembling that rheostat switch. Much easier to take the two leads and hook them to a simple on/off switch or even a rotary rheostat switch. The contacts get worn and the tensioning gets loose, I've tried cleaning, bending, etc and it will work for a bit but not great.
