The 7th 74 manual too. I don't believe the miles though, seller needs more documentation.

Owner registered it here in 2013 with color as Fjord, his Alias can't be found here though.

Those pics are taken at the Glenn Shelly location in Denver. Good guys, I bought my E36 M3 from them last year. Alex writes for Roundel now. His ads are awesome.

This one looks like it was parked on a wet blanket :). Its getting a little crusty under there and that's what you can see. Pretty interior/exterior combo but this one is going to need some work to "get there". When it gets painted, the new owner can take care of the hiding sunroof rust (which may require the roof to be cutoff and replaced) along with swapping the bumpers out. If its glass out, may as well do the dash, which, of course, leads to the wood, while you are in there... Slippery slope on this one depending upon the desired end state. Or you just drive and enjoy it as is.

Not sure I buy the mileage or the HP claims either.

I am not in the market and it is all too easy to sit in judgment. I do not find the condition all that surprising, including the presence of a little iron oxide, some "character" in the dash/wood veneer and elsewhere. As I said, I generally avoid finding fault as a sport and I am not doing so here. (I have no personal connection with this car and am unfamiliar with it.) Like most passersby, body integrity generally gets the most scrutiny from this observer. To be fair, there certainly are ample photos indicating body integrity and history.

(Frankly the photos allowed for a followup of the "off-topic" drain hole discussion (sorry). See below.)

Pretty car. (Aren't they all?)

Brake fluid reservoir level. Simple oversight?

Curious, in the later E9s and E3s, were the door brakes secured with a hex-head pin, such as this one?

Probably never a good idea to use this general area as a lift point

The sway bar mounts are probably the speciil Korman ones noted in the old for sale ad. The drains you mentioned are plugs in the floor pans, I have them also, it's the rocker drains I am curious about. You can see that pan plug to the left of the rail access in this pic:

What looked to be a much nicer car, with a modified drive train, just sold for $25K at the Mecum Indy auction. Bidders on this car should be aware of what they're getting themselves into for the money,.

The Mecum car for $25K seems like a good deal in today's market if the undersides are decent though white might not the most desireable for some. I don't get the mostly positive comments on BaT about the Baikal car. I see budding rust issues. The swelling sunroof area s/b a huge red flag.

The Mecum car looks familiar. I remember those unusual wheels. Looks like the buyer did pretty well, from the looks of it.

Looks like a good 40 year old car with bidding at just 25k. Not sure why everyone thinks a car has to be brand new or a concours restoration has to have been done for every car to be sold on the market. sure theres better deals, and worse ones out there...that goes with everything. its not like theyre asking 50k for it.

big bumper, non-mathcing engine with some "issues"... that's good money- I suspect we have a new coupe owner and not one of our "seasoned skeptics"

Honestly it would likely still take more than $10K to get *most $25K coupes up to the same level as this $34K car. That Korman triple weber setup would run you north if $3,000 to implement. You can live with the few rust bubbles or touch them up and enjoy the car.

Most $25K cars have pretty tired interiors. Yes there have been a few nice deals this month but how many pending offers were on those cars?
