A modern tribute to the e9

The front end needs a little refinement, but at least they added some more air vents! Pretty cool.

Thanks.....very cool. Thanks for sharing. Add a Motorsport V12, tweak that interior to incorporate a few more retro queues, declare victory and move on.

Almost makes sienna work (for me).

yep, it kinda has that "what's up doc" look to it. the dash + wheel really needs some help ... no tribute there.

the high sides are like the newer camaro compared to the old ones. overall i like the feel, but it needs some work. i like the red drawings more than the rendered car.

A good start. Agreed. A lower belt line would do the trick and it would fly out of the showrooms. I'll take mine in Agave...

2000CS vs 3.0CS

I would have been happier with a tribute to the 3.0 CS then the front and dash might look a little different.

Back to the drawing board, lower that belt line! (except in southern Florida!)
If the belt is that high it should be white ;)

Fantastic

Well I love it, I want one.
Perhaps in 20 years I could afford one, but I wonder if I could can still buy petrol then?

I think this concept is a bit bland and fails to reimagine some of the e9s signature styling ques.. However, I like the idea that the designer's efforts may have raised the profile of an iconic car and could lead to more inspiring tributes!!

I guess we should all be grateful that Bangle didn't try his hand at one..:-/

I'm with you guys, a little work in the front and lower beltline would make a big difference. I really like the rear though.

I like the profile but the front end and grill doesn't do it for me. The grill and valance looks JUST like a 2000 or 1600 - the new class cars before the E9. I never liked the look of those.

Cheers
James

Got to have the high sides (low glass) and blunt fronts for safety these days, that's why it looks that way.
Its not bad, but i agree the front does need a rework

Chargeresque front end with a 2000cs leaning... Makes you appreciate the original even more.
