I had my 2008 Volvo C30 polished and OptiCoat Pro sealed.
The car looks new and the paint looks very deep.
Living in NH the car is subjected to many indignities; snow, salt, rain, road grime, and frequently being parked at airports where the car always has a blackish film on it after sitting a week. The final insult is the car sits out of the garage from about now till November while the coupe takes the garage.

Allegedly, OptiCoat Pro will "last the life of the car" and water, muddy splashes etc will sheet off like supercharged Rain X has been applied. I also did the wheels inside and out to make brake dust removal easy....

Lets see how it work. Has anyone else used this product? I am considering it for the coupe over the single stage Chamonix paint...

Getting good reviews though it seems like a product you would put on a really good paint job (like yours). What's it cost?

If the car is new or the paint is new, about $400
If the paint is old (like with my 2008 Volvo) then polishing and paint remediation costs....
My Volvo cost about $600.

where is this done?
at a dealership?
I though paint protection was that dealers sell was "snake oil"
I apply a paint sealant to the newer cars in the fleet that works very well.
I have to apply it once every two years about?
Its a heavy wax that makes water bead very well and stays clean.
