Thought I'd pose a question to the crowd...

Besides the Owners manual, what additional documents would/could have been included when buying a CSi/CSL new in Europe?

A political map of Europe?
Errant driving a CSL into the East Block was more scary than the Bermudas Triangle.

And the Service/Warranty book with stickers for each dealer service. In the US we also got a US supplement. I also have a sheet regarding the Autoflug seatbelts and Blaupunkt book supplied by dealer who would have installed the radio. Also, Golde sunroof sheet if you have a sunroof.

Service Booklet papers

Here in UK we also received a small blue map-book consisting of a directory of all European BMW service dealers, a plastic card with your name on it and a few basic details about the car - this fitted in a special clear pocket in the service book wallet, a booklet giving comprehensive details on the Blaupunkt Templehoff radio in my case and, wait for it, a Lloyd's A1, copper-bottomed guarantee on the protective coating to the bodywork. Not joking. Now, I wonder where I put that? Best wishes, John.
