We buy brand new driveshafts. They are custom made for us. We will never rebuild and re-use an old drive shaft.

All my trannys are inspected/blessed/re-sealed by Pete at Pete’s Gear Shop.
Any tranny I sell is backed with a warranty to replace with another tranny which clearly I have in stock on the shelf.

The 2800 uses solid rotors.
The 1974 Cs rotors are vented and will not fit in your calipers.
Dicks comment from above is partially correct- the e12 528i sold in USA uses vented rotors.
You have options- buy correct rotors…...
Keep in mind that just a few years later there was no way to install the plates on the wrong side.
Later 1/2 shafts were fastened in with threaded flanges with no need for nuts.
2 distinct shapes for those plates. Later kits use the silver version in Steve’s picture.
Walloth sells early kits that use the black plate. Late new plates are NLA I believe and so we buy used on Lithuanian ebay. Late kits are 1/4 the price of new.
