Hi Ezz, great work, I just found your thread searching for a better alternative to the stock fuse box as I'm currently rewiring a 74 e9! I think your $150 price point is reasonable. Do you have a timeline on the finished first batch? I would like to put my name down for 1. Cheers John
I'm also looking for injection parts for a 72 CSL that was used for a track car, hence lots of the parts were removed and replaced with all sorts of parts. I'm trying to get her back to original. I have the intake/throttle body, fuel rail and a distributor base (no cap, leads and conduit) and...
Couple of observations, tower height needs to match your coil over set up, strength, as all the load is there and angle so spring doesn’t bind in the tower.
If you have no luck then there are some photos on www.fuelbespokedesign.com in the bodywork section. I used 2 of the e28 shock top hats and welded them together as the were very cheap on W&N at the time. It’s a pretty big job. Also you need to notch the floor where the front of the trailing arms...
Hi there, I'm looking at your airbag solution, very interested in a little more detail on the components you used, are you able to let me know the complete parts you used. Like you I have come to the conclusion that the kits like TA Technix are low end (plus I like the Airlift 3H iphone app :) )
I had a batch made up, aluminium laser sintered, only did a run of 10 as a one off, they cost USD$200 a pair. I have one set left if anyone needs a set right now. Just the pivots, does not include the arms.
Definitely not interested in competing with CK, they have gone through the effort of producing these, if the AUD exchange rate wasn't so shocking I would grab them in a heartbeat. Plus I only need the pivot piece not the arms.
We started out with a set of brass moulded ones, I'm not sure where they originally came from? Possibly the ones you mention, the hex was too small for the pivot arm so we started from scratch. The cost will be the issue, definitely not in the $50 a pair ballpark!
Agree, it's a trick part to make so I can understand how they cost so much, converted to AUD$ though will be $500 which I'm struggling with! I have a sample of an aluminium 3D print coming next week, fingers crossed!
Great job Brendan! We built very different cars but your help and advice along the way was much appreciated. I’m ironing out a few teething issues but basically the car drives beautifully and has passed the very strict engineering rules here and is fully roadworthy. Good luck on the track [emoji106]
Haven't posted for a while. Basically finished bar a few details, I had to rework a few things I was unhappy with mainly brakes, suspension and steering geometry but so much better now. This is a heavily modified e9 so I was expecting some issues and I'm sure there are a few more to deal with...
Does anyone have a photo of this seal installed correctly, I can't make out where exactly they fit? Thanks in advance.

Wow, yes pretty funky! I'm also running some large brakes and calipers, e36M3 with 315mm. I like your idea but late in my build so probably to late for anything that engineered. Just wish someone made a powerful dual circuit remote!
