Yeah the banana one is the solution that I know for certain clears. But compared to the later intake on b34's and b35's, the banana intake robs a good bit of power. But before I spend the dough to get a tii brake booster I want to get clear if I even need one.
Hello all -
I am putting a b34 into my Bavaria and will be running it EFI via the motronic box that came with the motor, harness, and intake. I would like to use the pyramid intake instead of making the older style log intake work.
Does anyone know if that intake will clear the brake...
I am currently divesting all the parts from my garage and I have a blue partial interior for a later e9. Photos are attached - it includes front and rear complete seats, rear seats with center and side arm rests and one front door pull. All the hardware and metal bits have painters tape on...
I agree... you definitely could not go out and build that car for near that price today. In the words of Carl Nelson... to get a donor body and do that build exactly to those specs, you'd be near six figures these days. That auction may be a harbinger of where prices are in the economy right now.
Thanks to everyone who replied. Mike Burger gave me a call and was very helpful. Checking the thermostat first and putting a heat gun to the radiator to make sure it's consistent. More to come!
Hey all,
I just finished the megasquirt install on a b35 with a hot cam in my e9. We used a stock radiator and it is just not doing the job. I am considering an Ireland Engineering radiator because I have heard good things but would really appreciate anyone's perspective on that one or others...
I scooped it up.
Getting started on a mechanical overhaul soon but in the meantime I'm just walking out to my garage every hour and pinching myself to make sure it's all real. And driving around with all the windows down.
More to come...
Local very interested
Wow - that looks great and I've been on the search for the right Bavaria. I'm local, please give me a ring this am to set up a time to meet up: 310-906-6935
Thanks
Eric
