i don't think mine is origional since the copywrite date is 1972 and my coupe is a 1970. Still holds air but I should replace it due to age. It's a Michelin MXV.

I'd bet you can sell that for the cost of a new tire.

Ron Wakefield's R&T review in the 7/73 issue lists Michelin XAS tires on this 73 coupe which I think we would find on the window stickers here on our site. The tire ads in this issue also shows the XAS, XVS, XWX as well as Pirelli CN36, Semperit and others. It was so fun back then to read the ads from the accessory guys and dream about driving lights, gear shift knobs, key fobs, etc. from AMCO, Colgan, Vilem B Haan, MG Mitten, Sebring, Wilco, Stebro, Beck Arnley and Bap Geon.

Our 2800 might have the original spare, it was parked in 1981 with 55,000 miles, we are keeping it as a survivor.

From Michelin Classic site:

TheMXV - P is a further development of the MXV launched in 1982. Its symmetric tread pattern is designed to offer exceptional grip to sports vehicles.
