E9 Sunroof panel, internal sliding panel, aluminium surround, rails, complete

Up for sale I have a complete sunroof setup.

The panel itself has only very slight surface rust and no dents etc... namely it is as good as can be for 43 year old metal.

I have the sunroof internal slider frame with remnants of the material to help size a new one. I also h

The aluminium surround is in good shape but has some hardened grease on it that will need to be cleaned off. Using only auto polish on a piece some shine started to come through so with a light sand and metal polish they will come up perfect. There is no pitting or heavy corrosion. The worm drive is included but will need to be freed out because the grease has hardened/dried out.

The tubes that the worm drives go into are included too.

All the original screws are included.

I am asking $285 for all this.

I also have the worm drive gear and electric motor too, but that is available separately. Let me know if you need that.

Hi. I really only need the sunroof panel itself, but if you are selling this complete, I'll take it. My sunroof panel has rust that is deeper than what yours shows.

Snail mail to the UK would be cost of packing plus about 250-300 USPS plus depending on final packing cost.

Does anyone on the forum need the slider mechanism and aluminium pieces should I separate the panel from the sliding mechanism?

That is correct. This panel is very solid as you can see. The rust is very superficial. I will list the internals on eBay to see how easily I can move that and then I can sell just the panel. I have seen cars sell without headliners etc so it is possible they are chasing the internal stuff that you do not need.

550 euro, comes with a full roof section and very good front headliner panel but roof seems rusted through. IDEAL candidate if you have an Ok roof to fit this in.
