Hi folks. A buddy and I are currently driving Waynsie's former Euro 535i from Denver to Houston. Fantastic car...beauty in the rough.

Minor detail, R12 appears a bit low after sitting for many months. Compressor still comes on but just not enough freon to get the job done.

So, currently cruising down US287 and should hit Fort Worth in about 1.5 hours. Wondering if anybody has a stash of R12 and gauges to give us a shot. Probably need less than a pound.

Thanks
Drew

Hi Drew - Austin is probably out of your way, but you might check with Peter C. He had a stash two years ago; not sure if he has gauges. If he can't help, maybe Peter could hook you up with Terry Sather.

Thanks Chris and Steve.

Yep Austin was on the wrong trajectory and Pete and I did chat.

Another 2 hours to go and the temps have dropped off a bit. Should be able to get a charge from a buddy in Houston.

Thought it was worth a try to find some on the way through...thanks for looking.

Cheers
Drew
