I happened to mention in another post that I had done two runs of CS Register badges. The original was by Art Wegweiser. After searching for a couple of years, Art lent me one to copy. The woman who runs the 356 Registry made it all possible. She has been ordering badges for her registry for years and knows everything about ordering, production and most important Importing. Each run totaled at least 75, the minimum order.

The first run included a lapel pin, the second a lapel pin and small key fob, all with the CS logo.

So I am offering to make a third run. I have two interested members. I will work exclusively through my own email: [email protected] Let me know if you are interested.

what do they look like?
i hava an old sticker with the round bottom
That's it, blue and white, looks something like a shield. If you see a photo of six or more coupes one is bound have the badge. Do you mean a window sticker. They are rarer than the badges. The only one I have ever seen is on my coupe rear window. I also have a CS Registry license plate frame. Also the only one I have ever seen.

Any one else have either?

I would be interested. Did I finally wear you down? See you at New Hope.
Mike
I am photo-loading-challenged, among other challenges. If some one sends an email to [email protected] I will send you a photo of mine on the grille that you can upload(correct term?) to this thread. Or just load one you might have.
Thanks, Steve

Aaah yes - I have my old one safe in a drawer with the pin we got "back in the day." I suppose I should mount it on my car.

Thanks, Stan. The new ones, of course, are bright and shiny. The whites are really white, the blues really blue. As was the original that Art W. lent me for making the new ones.

I have one as well.
It was mounted on my grill for a while but I did remove it.

I come from a career working with graphics although I'm not a graphic artist.
I've always wondered why the USA is not centered below BMW CS Registry?
Our cars are very symmetrical so I wish this was as well.
Just saying.................

Good question, never noticed even after producing two badge runs. I like formal balance, so the back end of my euro coupe has always looked a bit out of balance with the single fog lamp. Oh my.

Just back from looking at beautiful CSL owned by a Brit. Saw the single exhaust tip that now throws the back end even further out of balance.

Thought the register was International?

Why not make it "BMW Cs Register" so you could put it on your car wherever you drive it.

I like the idea of having it say "international" but I'm interested and would buy either way.

Cheers,

Register - A recording of items, names, or actions;
Registry - A place where you Register
Registrar - One who registers
Registration - the act of registering.

According to Oxford both would work; I think I prefer Registry...
